The Institute, incorporated on 27th February, 2025, is committed to promoting excellence, professionalism, innovation, ethical practice, and lifelong learning among practitioners, lecturers, researchers, and students in the field. Incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 2020 with Registration Number 8301138.
NIOTIM provides a platform for development of office technology and management, and information management professionals capable of meeting the challenges of today's dynamic digital workplace. The Institute promotes best practices in office administration, information management, digital technologies, records management, business communication, and related disciplines through professional development programmes, conferences, seminars, webinars, workshops, publications, certification, and research.
NIOTIM was established with an object to collaborate with educational institutions, government agencies, industry stakeholders, and international professional organisations to strengthen professional standards, encourage innovation, and enhance the quality of curriculum contents of Office Technology and Management on the one hand, and Office and Information Management in tertiary institutions in Nigeria on the other hand.
